Q. My child has never played football before. Can they still attend a course?

A. Yes. The courses are designed for players of all abilities and experience. A number of children on each course have never played football before and we are experienced with developing and bring out the best in these children.

Q. What equipment does my child need?

A. Your child does not need any specialist equipment. With all courses, we supply the footballs, goals, bibs and any other equipment that is needed. We use Samba goals, of a size recommended by the Football Association for the age of children on the courses we run.

Q. What kit does my child need?

A. Your child does not require any specialist kit, We do ask that your child wear suitable clothing for exercise and also wears trainers. If you would prefer your child to  wear our branded kit, it can be purchased through our club shop at Moulded football boots are recommended, but not required, for 3G pitches as the extra grip will help them maintain their balance and avoid any undue injuries. Trainers must be worn inside so we advise children to bring trainers for indoor use even if a course is held outside as we may use indoor facilities in the event of bad weather. SHIN PADS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

Also, remember plenty of drinks, sun cream for when the weather is warm, and a packed lunch for camps.

Q. Is this only for boys?

A. No. Football is for all children and all of our courses welcome both girls and boys.

Q. What happens if my child is not as good as some of the other players?

A. We recognise that all children have differing abilities and skills in sport and we run all-inclusive courses. All children are catered for and we work hard to ensure that all children are given every chance to develop. We will never class a child as not good enough and we will never ask them to stop attending because of this reason.

Q. My child is nearly four, can he/she attend?

A. We are only able to take children who are in reception year at school. This means only children aged 4 or 5 and in their first year of school are eligible.

Q. Are there any trophies at the end of the year?

A. The last week of the the year is our award week. There are trophies for all of the competitions we have run over the duration of the course, as well as other individual trophies e.g. a goalkeeping award. However, all children are guaranteed to receive at least one trophy.

Q. How much does an Academy course cost?

A. Each standard course costs £20 per calander month and will run throughout the year. For ease of administration, and to ensure the children get the maximum time available to play football, payments of £20 are made every 4 weeks and can be paid by either cash, bank transfer or paypal. No refund will be made if your child misses a session, unless the absence is caused by factors beyond the control of guardian’s and only after prior consultation with the academy manager.

Academy Players can purchase our kit at

Q. How do I book my child a place on a course?

A. Simply click on the booking tab above - You will find an array of programmes that we offer.

Q. My Child has a disability/medical condition or diagnosis can they still attend a football course?

A. We believe all children have the right to enjoy and play football. We have experience of children attending our courses with learning difficulties and physical disabilities. If children have additional needs such as the administering of medication, or medical requirements which coaches are not qualified to meet then parents/carers will be asked to stay in attendance. We ask parents/carers to contact us so we can ensure we are able to meet the needs of the child and those already attending our courses.

Q. Is there a cancellation policy?

A. All our fun Camps have a 48 hour cancellation clause where monies paid for fun Camps are non-refundable after this point. This is because we finalise our coaches, helper staff and equipment in the final week prior to a course starting, so all children booked on are catered for.

Q.Can my child still play for his Saturday/Sunday football team?

A. Yes, our sessions do not effect your childs current team playing times. We offer high standards of coaching to further players development, with the opportunity to play against some of the top teams across the region.
